After the successful launch of the 'Renaissance Box Sash' window at the Home Improvement Show in London it was an ideal product to put forward for the Self Build Product Innovation Awards for 2010. Our true traditional 'Box Sash' window was put forward in the Joinery category of the awards and was judged by a variety of leading experts within the self build industry. The entrants into this category were short-listed to two companies and it was announced that the 'Renaissance Box Sash' window was the WINNER of the category.

VAT rates will rise to 17.5% in January 2010 and we are receiving a lot of enquiries on how to "beat the VAT increase". The answer is that the goods must be manufactured, fully finished and invoiced by 31st December 2009 in order to qualify for the 15% rate. Carey & Fox Ltd has launched it's new European Range of products. These are High quality windows and doors, manufactured on modern machinery as against the traditional range which is all hand crafted. Because of this, the European range is typically around 20% less than the price of Carey & Fox's traditional range. Operations Manager Jason Carey said "this means that we can now help those customers who are looking for high quality products but are also working within a budget". The new range includes a Tilt and Turn window, as well as Aluminium Clad options.

Our new Renaissance Box Sash window was launched at the National Home Improvement Show at Earl's Court in October 2009. The feedback from Architects and Customers has been excellent, thank you to all who have written in and given us your kind words. The Renaissance window will be on display at the Homebuilding and Renovation show at Harrogate in November, and also at the National Self Build and Renovation Centre in Swindon from early November 2009.
